Social Enterprises and Schools

Aims of the project
To build the capacity of social enterprises seeking to support schools in delivering enterprise learning and global citizenship.

By
• Forming a network of Social Enterprises to share expertise on local and global development issues, knowledge of the enterprise learning agenda, teaching and learning methodologies.
• Setting up a series of training events (or one whole day event) for members.
• Promoting members capacity to support schools by initially using local schools’ interest in fair trade as a hook.
• Providing a central access point for schools to build partnerships with SE organisations.
• Ensuring the sustainability of the network by using the web, email discussions and future events and projects.

Through the network:
Providing an opportunity for pupils to find out about, value and engage in social enterprise activities.
