Tidy Campaign
The Keep Britain Tidy Campaign is run by ENCAMS, an independent national charity. Its aims are simple.
To improve the quality of local environments, by making people aware of
how much litter, dog fouling, graffiti and vandalism there is around them
and remind them of their role in keeping Britain clean

Waste Watch is a charity whose inspiration and values derive from
a desire to protect the environment by ensuring the sustainable use and
disposal of scarce resources, primarily by advocating waste reduction,
re-use and recycling of materials. Includes details of publications (including
the National Recycling Directory), an educational site for teachers (with
details of how to request a visit from Cycler - the recycling robot) and

Sustainability North West SNW's mission is to contribute to the Region's
vision by working with the North West Partnership for the sustainable
development of North West England. We are a partnership sector organisation,
a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee. SNW provide leadership,
a focus and act as an umbrella body for the North West. We access funding,
lobby, provide information, stimulate innovation and disseminate best
practice. Our board, advisors, partners and sponsors make this possible.

Global Education AssociatesGlobal Education Associates (GEA) is a
partnership of individuals and organizations in 90 countries working to
enable people to understand and respond constructively to the crises and
opportunities of today's interdependent world. Emphasis is on the development
of global ethics, values, and systems related to peace, economic well-being,
ecological balance, human rights, and democratic participation.
The GLOBE Programme GLOBE is an international programme, encouraging
schools throughout the world to measure aspects of their local environment
and report their results over the Internet. The initial suggested age
range was 8 - 14 although further activities were to be developed for
15 - 18 year old students by April 1999.
Learning Through Landscapes
Learning through Landscapes (LTL) is the national charity dedicated to
helping schools across the UK to improve their grounds for the benefit
of children, the school and society as a whole. LTL is involved in a number
