Location: Somalia is on Africa's east coast, bordering Ethiopia, Djibouti and Kenya.
Capital City: Mogadishu
Climate: Somalia is hot all year round
Food: Camel meat is often eaten and camel milk is used to make a yoghurt called jinow. Patties called muffo are made from corn or oats and are also popular.
Languages: Somali and Arabic

Other Interesting Facts:
From 500AD - 1500AD the Somalis used the monsoon winds to cross the Indian Ocean to trade in spices, metals and porcelain with India and China. Iman is a famous fashion model from Somalia. She is married to the pop musician David Bowie. 60% of the population are nomadic or semi-nomadic.
