Peer Education Project

The School-to-School Peer Education project aims to enhance the capacity of schools to address Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), the Global Dimension and Social Inclusion through innovative methods, including participatory learning and peer education.

The project will pilot innovative methods of delivering the Global Dimension, ESD and Social Inclusion principles. It will work with a number of schools in clusters and use peer school (secondary to secondary) as well as secondary to primary school feeder systems. The clusters will employ whole school and participatory methodologies to deliver the above principles, forge close school-community links and empower pupils with regard to local-global development issues. The project, if successful, will produce a replicable way of engaging schools and communities in ESD and the Global Dimension.
