Peer Education Project


Who is the project aimed at?

Pupils: learning about GD, SD, SI, empowerment through participation, closer links with the community and understanding of equity, equality and interdependence.

Teachers: assistance with teaching methods and development education, linking with national curriculum (e.g., citizenship, PSHE), democracy, thinking skills, training, resources.

Schools: whole school work, inter-school co-operation, sharing of resources, consistence of teaching styles, easier transition, closer links to community and external education support.

The local community: closer links to local schools, working with schools in the medium to longer term, possibly increase in users/ customers.

Wider ESD/EES/DE network: dissemination of outcomes regarding multi-schools working and development education.
